Now, that's some sad statistics, isn't it? If we 'borrowed' food from a grocery store or restaurant, we'd be arrested. If we 'borrowed' from any sales place, we'd be arrested.
Years ago, I bought a magazine. It had an article on how to save money. I hadn't delved into professional writing yet, but I was insulted by one of the ways to save: share books and magazines. I'm not saying this is totally wrong, but think about the money the companies would lose if we all shared all our books and magazines.
Sure. Borrow your friend's book if you want to read it. Leave a review for the author. If you really enjoyed the book, get your own copy, but don't use freeby sites that pirate books.
